When you’ve made a disclosure to Report and Support, assigned staff will carefully consider the details provided and assess the relevant risks to decide what action is necessary. If you have not provided contact details, staff cannot get in touch to discuss this with you.

Sometimes, especially with anonymous disclosures, staff are unlikely to have sufficient information and are consequently unable to act. However, anonymous disclosures may be discussed with the relevant Head of School or Unit, for awareness and prevention and can be instrumental in identifying patterns that can help us to legislate for a safer community.
